peerVu is founded by a group of friends who got tired of having the once beautiful Internet turn into a place where so many people could say so much but say so little at the same time. Reviews of products and services became so commonplace that while everyone had an opinion, it became even harder to make a decision. Between the review sites, the blogs and shopping search engines, the anonymity of available information rendered it next to useless. Many times, we went back to the tried and true technique to get information that really mattered – we asked our friends, coworkers or other trusted sources. After all, they were the ones that knew that Jack would love those extra big wheels on his dual stroller so he would be able to take his kids on the golf course that serves as his second home. And they knew that Brian’s giant thumbs would mean he probably wouldn’t do well with a touchscreen iPhone keyboard. And of course they knew since Paul was so cheap, he’d appreciate the cash-only furniture shop in San Francisco.
