so i got the samsung 650, thanks for your help. i was also torn between that a 55 inch vizio at costco but decided i wanted the USB port on the samsung and the glossy screeen. comes in 2 wks... CAN NOT WAIT!!!

120 hz is the new standard especially if you watch sports. This reduces/eliminates pixilation or blurring in fast moving objects. you still need to go 1080p.

I don't really know all the technology, but people tell me that 120hz sets are the thing to go for now

I hear there will be some massive sales after Christmas. There will probably be a bunch of open boxes too. I'm also in the market for a 1080P, 42in. set. let me know what makes sense in a smaller set. I'm not a baller like Paul.
